Bartlett Electric Cooperative, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate for an Installation Technician position. The Installation Technician is responsible for assisting the Installation Foreman in installing customer equipment and providing set-up advice, when necessary, to meet the goals of a specific project or customer need.

  The Installation Technician is required to perform work both inside and outside in all weather conditions. Inside work includes working inside customer premises, in attics or crawl spaces, climbing ladders, or other assigned heights.
 

Bartlett Electric Cooperative, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate for Broadband Plant Technician position. The Broadband Plant Technician typically works indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

The Broadband Plant Technician will participate with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of overhead and underground fiber optics and communications equipment. The Broadband Plant Technician possesses the knowledge and experience to handle these tasks on overhead and underground powerlines and powerline equipment.

The Broadband Plant Technician will also participate in trimming, clearing, chipping, and/or chemically treating trees and/or brush along the right-of-ways, ensuring completion of required form, reports and other documentation.

Member Services

Bartlett Electric Cooperative is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Member Service Supervisor.
This position is one of high responsibility for reliable, economical member and customer services and satisfaction for both BEC Power and BEC Communications.

The Member Service Supervisor must have demonstrated leadership quality and a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of service to members and general public relations.
A Member Service Supervisor is able to successfully perform the functions of all BEC member service positions.

A Member Service Supervisor performs the functions of customer relations which may include, but are not limited to, supervising and developing personnel, allocating resources, developing, conducting, and monitoring member activities such as billing, member services, and new accounts in accordance with established policies, plans and objectives of BEC.

A Member Service Supervisor assists with the BEC Annual Meeting member meetings and other special project assignments and is responsible for administering the cooperative energy efficiency program.

A Member Service Supervisor will train, coach and supervise, both directly and indirectly, all aspects of routine and non-routine member services.
The Member Service Supervisor ensures that work performed by subordinates is completed in an accurate, professional manner and sets an example for others of courteous, productive work procedures.
