Chronic Critical Care & Critical Load
The Customer Protection Rules of the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) allow certain members to qualify as Critical Care or Chronic Condition customers (residential), or as Critical Load customers (non-residential).
Important Notice: These designations do not guarantee uninterrupted or continuous electric service. If electricity is essential to health or operations, members should have backup power or alternative arrangements in place.

Critical Load (Non-Residential)
The Critical Load Program identifies non-residential service locations that support public safety, industrial operations, or natural gas infrastructure and have an approved application on file with Bartlett Electric Cooperative.
When planned outages or service interruptions for non-payment occur, advance notice will be provided when possible so preparations can be made. During unplanned outages, restoration priority may be given to approved Critical Load participants as conditions allow.
